DESCRIPTION:

1KA Steel Shield is a hair treatment based on glyoxylic acid, a mix of ten amino acids and essential oils. It does not use formaldehyde or any of its derivatives. It has a unique and revolutionary technology that treats and rejuvenates the hair while providing a natural straightening. 

1KA Steel Shield is compatible with any chemical treatment made previously, such as coloring, bleaching, Keratin, Guanidine, Ammonia, Lithium and Sodium.

HOW TO USE:

Step 1: Deep Cleansing:

• Wash the hair three times with a clarifying shampoo, massaging thoroughly.
• On the third wash, leave the shampoo on for 5 minutes to ensure the cuticles are fully opened.
• Rinse thoroughly and dry the hair 100% using a blow dryer.

Step 2: Product Application:

• Divide the hair into sections for easier application.
• Pour approximately 40–50 ml of 1Ka Steel Shield into a non-metallic bowl. If more product is needed, add as required. Do not return unused product to the original container to avoid contamination.
• Using gloves and a brush, apply the product strand by strand, starting at the nape of the neck. Apply from roots to ends, ensuring not to touch the scalp.
• Cover the hair with two overlapping plastic caps to maintain heat and enhance product penetration.
• Leave the product on for 40 to 60 minutes, depending on hair type and condition, until the hair is fully de-structured. Perform a knot test to confirm readiness.

Step 3: Drying and Straightening:

• Dry the hair 100% with a blow dryer, using a thick comb or brush to align the strands. Ensure the roots are straightened, as the flat iron may not reach them effectively.
• Flat iron the hair in fine sections, passing the iron 8 to 15 times per section. Use a temperature of:
• 210–230°C for medium to thick hair.
• 190°C for fine or light-colored hair.

Step 4: Rinse:

• Rinse the hair thoroughly to remove the product.
• Towel-dry to remove excess moisture.
• Style the hair as desired.
